2AM Tactical is a firearms training company in Oak Lawn, Illinois, founded on a simple belief: everyone has the right to learn how to defend themselves and the people they love — and they deserve to learn it from professionals.
Why "2AM"?
Because trouble doesn't make appointments. The moment you train for isn't a sunny Saturday at the range — it's the sound that wakes you at two in the morning, the parking lot that empties faster than you expected, the situation you never chose.
We can't promise that moment never comes. We can promise that if it does, you'll have trained for it — legally, mentally, and practically.
That's the standard behind every class we run: not "good enough to pass the state minimum," but ready for 2AM.
Law Enforcement, Not Lecture-Hall
Every 2AM Tactical class is led by experienced police officers and law enforcement personnel. Our instructors carry a firearm as part of their profession, train continuously, and understand use-of-force decisions from the inside — because they've made them.

Our Standards
Safety First, Always
Strict range protocols, controlled live-fire sessions, and the four universal rules enforced without exception. Nobody rushes, nobody freelances.
Every Student Matters
We keep classes small and get to know each student. A retired teacher picking up her first pistol gets the same patient attention as a competitive shooter.
Beyond the Minimum
Illinois requires 16 hours. We use every one of them to build judgment and skill — not to run out the clock.
Plain-English Law
You'll leave understanding where you can carry, when force is justified, and what happens after — without a law degree.
